Barefoot In The Park

After a 6-day honeymoon, conventional lawyer Paul Bratter and his free spirited wife Corie move into the new, high-rent apartment that she has chosen for them in New York City. They discover that the 6th floor walkup has no furniture, a skylight with a hole in it and an upstairs neighbor who needs to use their fire escape in order to get to his apartment. Following a visit from his disapproving new mother-in-law, matters go from bad to worse. When Paul flatly refuses to join Corie in a barefoot walk through the snow in the park, the honeymoon seems to be over.
